“If you’re good at doing nothing, you’ll be good at doing everything.”
Why?
Let me explain.
I don’t have much time to do nothing, but I make the time. The time of course is already there, it’s just how we choose to use it.
Nature encourages me to stop look and listen around me, I mostly do this first thing in the morning, early on.
When do you stop? Do you stop at all? Some people only stop when they go on holiday because they are forced to stop.
Others stop because they become ill. Sometimes that happens because they haven’t stopped.
Stopping is a gift to your nervous system.
In stopping you are training your nervous system. That’s the most important thing you’ll ever do. It’s your container for energy.
And about all those blessings and goals you’re working towards whether it’s keeping gym-fit, meeting your ideal partner, making better career choices, aligning to what you’re here on earth to embody and share.
They all require you having a ‘flexible and balanced foundation’ which includes you stopping. Without doing so, self-sabotage is inevitable.
Enjoy your day. I started mine very early, stopping to breathe with some baby goslings.
