I spent some time bio hacking with ‘Bobbles’ over the festive period…
This is also known as feeding a crested duck called Bobbles in my local but I’ve been reading about wellbeing trends for 2025 in posh lifestyle magazines over the holidays – as you do.
They are saying optimising health through nutrition, technology, and habit-building strategies will continue to address modern challenges like burnout, focus, and boost longevity.
I encourage people in the workshops and courses I run to be open with their minds and list all the bad habits they have so they can slowly eliminate them.
I managed to write four sides of A5 when personally addressing this many years ago! Of course I ask people to list their good habits as well so they can maintain them. And introduce new ones too.
Trends for 2025 also point to the ‘unwillingness’ of younger members of the UK workforce to pay the price of burnout as a “normal” side effect of hard work.
Then they cite research that further underscores the powerful link between physical activity and longevity, highlighting that consistent physical activity is one of the most important factors to extend lifespan and reduce chronic disease risk.
For example, Dr. Sajad Zalzala, a leader in longevity medicine and the co-founder of AgelessRx, embraces this principle daily. He uses a walking pad to get over 8,000 additional steps a day, directly supporting his cardiovascular health and overall longevity.
Overall, I’m not seeing any new trends but rather, a continuation of those that have emerged in the past few years.
Maybe start your emergence into 2025 by looking at your habits, good and bad, and taking things from there.
In the meantime, have a great year!
