I always endeavour to bring humour with a dose of reality into my conversations with teams!
Presenting workplace wellbeing sessions as a breathing educator can potentially get many people anxious at the start!
Seriously though, and as a workplace hack, don’t get lost in virtual reality, paying absolutely no attention to your breathing and where it’s coming when you’re indulging daily in what i call ’email warfare.’
That’s how people get email apnea.
Nose breathing and lower abdominal muscle area breathing only please.
And it’s not just emails.
It’s the same when someone calls you at work instead of texting (especially if you’re under 40* years of age)! 😎
Don’t forget, when you’re out of work too.
Whether it’s pretending to be good at golf like me here or whatever other pastimes you have, mouth closed, breathing slow and low.
